House Concerts

If you haven’t been to a house concert, you’re really missing out.
A house concert is basically like a regular concert, but without the layers of
formality separating the audience and the performer. It’s a popular thing for
folk and world music, and rightly so, because it really turns a concert into a
fun community event. It works especially well for acoustic music and I believe
it’s the ideal setting for a classical guitar concert.

Irish Fiddler Randal Bays has a very good web page about hosting house concerts.
